Ventilated seats
The perforations on the (leather) seats seems like it would be perfect for adding a ventilation system to keep cool. In searching the web, I found a product called ComfortCools. It’s from a company in Germany, but apparently they manufacturer them in Mexico and have a supplier in Texas. I think this is the same company that supplies the luxury cars that have this seat feature.
I have two questions:
Does anyone have experience installing something like this?
How much interest (from the Evo community) is there for a system like this? And how much would you pay for a kit? I can’t seem to find a retailer for this product, but I might be able to convince the manufacturer to sell some kits if I knew there was an interest.
Interestingly enough, in searching the web I found some research that shows cars equipped with ventilated seats have an improvement in fuel efficiency due to less use of the A/C.
