First of all I am glad to have found your site. I have owned a few talons and one eclipse. Never had really good luck with the DSM reliabilty, but had alot of fun modding these cars. I since have ownded hondas toyotas and 2 Mustang Cobras. I am at a point where I want to get a fast car again. Looking at a `04 Cobra and a use Z06. I really love turbo cars and am impressed from what I have read and heard about the EVO. OK..to make a long story short I found this `03 Lancer and want to know what you all think. It has 40k miles and the following mods-


-espeliar 3 inch catback exhaust
-vishnu 3 inch downpipe with test pipe as well as high flow cat both
included
-flashed ecu(raises rpm limiter and boost cut)
-vishnu exede engine management(2 different fully dyno tuned maps by
shiv...the owner of vishnu)
-10.5 clip hotside on the turbo
-buddy club 272 cams
-fidanza cam gears
-forge rs blowoff valve/recirc
-arc heatshield
-k&n drop in airfilter
-xs power intercooler
-xs power lower intercooler piping
-stainless o2 housing
body:
-evo 7 tail lights
-perrin antenna
-work xsa-o2c wheels(17x9) very rare build to order wheels...took like 6
months to get these and they have newer toyo ra1 tires(also comes with stock
wheels that have newer goodyear f1's)
-H&R springs
interior:
-craig hardy guage panel
-boost,water temp,and oil pressure guages
-kenwood stereo with remote
-polk speaker upgrade in front

What do you think of the miles and mods? Might buy the car this week just want some imput....Oh ya the price...heheh..23.5k is what he is asking. Thanks

seems abit steep for an 03, although i could be wrong. and as for buying one of these cars modded, i wouldnt recommend it. could have transfer case problems and what not. also if you were to purchase that model year, the car would be lacking ACD. id check around before jumping on this one.

The price is right around the KBB for the car. The bright side is that all the basic mods are done already for you. It depends on you some people like modding the car themselves. If you like it and you know its in good shape then buy it and have a ball with it.

Forgot to add one more thing. It has the stock clutch. So maybe he hasnt drivin all the **** out of it heheh. How does the stock clutch hold up to modds? He told me it has never slipped so he never found need to upgrade. Well I appreciate all the input. Thanks.
