I'll check mine tonight.

I haven't driven mine in the dark yet, so I don't know what the lights look like. =D

As for the questions, this is with the engine running or off. I drove it home 45 min last night and they stayed green the whole way. I bought my 03 evo brand new as well and they were white/blue tint from day one. Also I'm thinking they are just supposed to be this way because if I look into the projector with the lights off, I still see a little green so maybe the projector is tinted or something. Either way it doesnt really matter to me, it just had me curious as to whether anyone else had this on theirs.

Maybe the headlight manufacturer is trying to make some improvement in HID lights. There have been some recent investigations in how the human visual system works and what they are finding is that the blue/purple end of the spectrum is pretty much ignored in visual processing. The color that is important to the brain is green. The computer monitor people are busy redesigning their equipment based on this new information. They can remove most of the green pixels because we see that color so well.

I thought this was normal to have the greenish tint on the projector when the lights are off for the newer models? I saw this on my buddy's car who has an 05' Evo 8, but he now has the "JDM" aftermarket black headlights which came that way. My car was parked next to his, as well as my other friends 05' Evo 8 and we both had a clear projector lens. He said that's the way they are in Japan. The lights themselves do not shine green, but the tint is greenish when they're off.

That's how my projectors look on the '06 GSR as well. Green projector low-beam housings. I'm running an aftermarket 6k kit though and they look as blue as blue on white can get.

The light on mine is mostly standard white/blue, but my projectors do look green during the daytime with the lights off. I didn't park the car close enough to anything to check the reflection and see if it was like the OP's car.

hmm ive got an ix gsr and the headlights look like they have a blue tint in them when the lights are off or during the day... at night, since i put in an aftermarket hid kit (8000 K), the light output actually has a purplish tint to it.... wierd lol

You must have the upgraded projector to HID...9006 HID bulbs.
I dont see your fogs lamps so I know another evo owner miguel that has HID dealer installed upgrade, but his are really blue, like some 5,000k bulbs.
Stocks are 4700K. After 8,000 k, they look purple.

Are you talking about mine? Mine are factory ones, not dealer installed. Also I do have fog lights, might just be hard to tell in the pic.
