did i put the BOV in the right direction

i have an APS and i put it in and it doesnt sound loud, thus im to believe i put it in right, because i didnt want a loud bov. If you tried to push the bov open with your finger, that outlet is going toward the intake, and the side that opens after you push that side is facing the turbo? if i did it right, i thought that it would be the other way around seeing as the psi of the turbo opens the bov right? thanks everybody!!!!

Say what? You said one side is facing the intake and one is facing the turbo? The intake and turbo are the same direction relative to the BOV. The valve side should be connected to the UPPER INTERCOOLER PIPE, and the blowoff side should connect right into the MAF pipe (intake pipe).

the part where you can push in is supposed to be attached to the UIP. There's a pic floating around here somewhere.

What do you mean how do you still hear it? I thought you said you weren't hearing much. Regardless, hearing it or not is not relevant to the orientation. Our BOVs can work in both directions, but only one direction is proper.
