I don't know if he's referring to a mechanical problem. I think he's thinking more electrical. I notice the slowness as well, even with rolling 2 windows up at once the lights will dim and they slow down.

It's because you are putting a lot of strain on the alternator. When idling I am about 14 V. when idling and rolling up all 4 windows it goes down to about 12.9 - 13.4 V. Depends on if the headlights are on or if it's hot out.

Doing the Big/Magic 3 would probably help this problem. The Big 3 is something audio junkies do to get a better electrical system.
Using the biggest power cable you can find (4 awg or bigger), run these three wires..
1. A wire from the neg. batt post to the chassis
2. from the alt. mounting bracket to the chassis
3. a wire form the alt. positive post to the batt. positive post, fuse the line with a fuse equal or a little bigger then the stock alt. fuse
when grounding wires to the chassis, makes sure to scrap all the paint away and that the wire is touchin bare metal.
This will improve you electrical system greatly and may make you windows roll up faster.

At least it's not like the S2000 where rolling down the window during rain gets you a gallon of water dumped in your lap
