Another APS DV Question

I have the IX MR which has the Metal DV. I have read many times that this DV is perfectly fine and does NOT need to be touched. I have full understanding of that and dont need to be noted about it anymore.

Call me a ricer if you will, I like the notorious PSH sound

Running VTA (as read) will give major idleing issues and also throw off the MAF sensor. I really like the PSH sound and i want to get a DV that will give me that (the stock MR DV isnt doing it)

Question is will the APS DV make the ricey PSH sound with stock intake installed.

(I understand it will be alot louder with intake but i dont want to get an intake.. the stock one is doing its purpose quite well)

(once again YES i understand the stock DV is doing its purpose as well, but its missing the one addition i want)

Stock IX DV will make plenty of noise with an intake. APS on stock intake will barely make a sneeze.

Yes, the stock intake and stock DV are great. It would be a crime against humanity to mess that awesome system up just because you want to be chosen for the cast of 4F4F.

Make a decision - get an intake and make noise or keep things how they are and have a perfectly running car without spending money while sacrificing your dire need for the wondrous ricer mating call.

I got it, and its awesome. It not the loudest out there but loud enough to satisfy most people, and defenitely louder than a sneeze on the stock intake which is my current setup. It doesn't make the ricey psh, more like a woosh.
