Cams/Timing Belt Installation: Anythign else I should do?

Gonna order this complete timing belt replacement kit from buschur and was wondering if there is anything else i should replace while i am getting this done:

Complete timing belt replacement kit for your Evolution. Includes: Timing belt, balance shaft belt, timing belt tensioner pulley, timing belt idler pulley, balance shaft tensioner pulley, hydraulic tensioner.

Also gonna order some cams & prolly cam gears. But are there any seals or gaskets or anything else i should go ahead and order?

Thanks

-Ryan

You are going to want the tool to push back the hydraulic tensioner- basically a long M8 bolt. Or M10- I can't remember. Anyway, you should have that on hand. You can make one out of a piece of good quality all-thread if you want.

edit: if you're going to change cams you will want to replace the cam oil seals.

Make sure you don't knock your oil pump balance shaft out of sync. a Mitshu mechanic did mine (belt/cams) and it was out of sync, and wreaked havoc for 4 months!! Busting stuff like crazy. look up my post on that. the marks WILL still line up, even if OFF 180 degrees! So be careful!!

I would save some money and just get the 2 belts. None of the other stuff is necessary to replace. That sounds like an expensive package.

When doing cams, get the cams seals replaced since you'll be in there. They are cheap and I believe they are available at NAPA
