My Advans lasted me about 20K. I drive hard but not rediculous. I agree, maintenance is high but of course depends on your driving style. People with less self control will end up spending more on maintenance. Spend your $$ wisely. Good luck with the MR, welcome to your new car payment.

Yeah keep it stock for a while. I knwo you are excited but you may lose a lot of money and reliability modding the hell out of your car. I just traded in my 2003 Evo for the IX and it is quite a GEM stock. Keep the modding simple, don't go nuts, and keep it stock atleast for the winter, enjoy it as is.
