I'm probably in. I'm about 2 hours from the Gap...Went to college in Maryville and Knoxville (where I spent many a hours at the Gap).
I live in Greenville, SC - which is along the way up there for you Floridians. Love the Gap, but it must be given the respect it deserves...Don't want to see fellow Evo owners going to jail, crashing their cars, or causing motorcyclists to crash.
Those that have been there know - if you haven't, it is motorcyclist territory. Keep your distance around them (hopefully, they won't be careless either).
If I can go, I plan on taking my in/out of car video setup, plus the 20D for stills. Might be a good chance to get some great action shots of Evo owners in their rides.

check out www.evolution se.com(no space). A meet is already in the planning stages. We could make it a very big one. You might have to join to see the announcement section.

Lol, I just actually went to the Gap last Sunday. It was the first time I'd ever been and we had a freaking blast. My buddy had his 50 trimmed GSX up there, then my Evo, a 50 trimmed GST, and a Active Autowerks S/C M3... It was well worth the hour or so drive
The Skyway was probably my favorite part, it was way less crowded and the curves were much longer and not so tight, but there was definitely still plenty of it. We saw Killboy up there in his Evo shooting some pics. Sorry to thread jack, just thought I'd share my experience.
I'd be in for the ride up there as well, however. Probably my buddies too..

Ok, I got the link to work. However, were planning on heading up in November, maybe December, not Jan/Feb.
Also, don't forget the Cheraholla Skyway, that was almost more fun than the Dragon! Traffic was a non issue and I only saw 1 Johnny Law (LEO) just as we passed the water before going in to the Dragon, bikes were not a problem, 90% are cool and will move over to let you pass, unless their from Quebec, their idiots.

I posted before reading your thread. I liked the Skyway better too! we hit some pretty good speed on the straights, just myself and an S2000(he lives in the area). I could smell my brakes on the way down the Skyway, we took it to Tellico(68) and came back on 411 into Maryville. There's a place not far from Maryville that you can get 110 oct for a good price, that's what I ran when I was up there and I'll be running again.

BTW do you know the name of the gas station that sells the 110? I was wanting to run it the other day but I usually have to go down to Chattanooga to get it and that was just to far out of the way..
