Stock Ix pump is good for your level of mods. Max boost will depend on octane of fuel. 22-23 is good for 93 octane(R+M/2). Intake kit will lean it out, but the flash should've corrected for it.

Yep, I set my boost in 3rd as well to spike 23lbs on 93 octane.

Topic creator: You should really look into getting some sort of flash to take advantage of all your mods, then it will really wake up!

It's probably a different experience on a IX. On my VIII I adjust max boost in top gear, as my boost'll creep a bit in 5th and not in 3rd.

No, as long as you keep the boost the same as before.

Damn already beat me to answering... I say 23psi and set it at the coolest part of the day/night in 3rd gear.

What does the car spike to in stock form? sorry for the newbie question.

And why can't a flash re-adjust the wastegate to stay at 23psi?

If you know your question is a NEWBIE question then why did you post it anyway... You should learn quickly that there is a seach button at the top of the screen. As for your question: Normally stock Evos spike 19 psi and taper down as the RPM's rise. As for how low... many see it drop to roughly 13-14 psi. Obviously the elevation and climate makes a difference. As for a re-flash. It doesnt adjust the stock wastegate. Wastegates are mechanical not electrical.
