do me a favor, replace the line that u cut to the factory Fuel Pressure Regulator and re-route the boost gage line to the vacume line on the diverter-valve. this way if u ever have a leak your FPR will still do its job and u will still have an engine.

Did you try just putting air to the guage directly?

That's a super-easy way to see if the guage is completely defective.

I tried that but the needle gets to zero and goes a little above it and that is it. It stops right there. It is weird that this gauge worked but the next morning it just suddenly stopped.

If you were using a good source when you tried that, I'd say the guage is definately shot.

No need for that, it's a bit overkill, just throw on some zipties and call it a day, also make sure you throw on a zip tie on the backside of the gauge, just in case. Routing it ALL the way to the diverter valve is just too much.

whats another foot and a half of silicone hose? this way if u ever have a leak in your lines u wont have to worrie about loosing fuel pressure and leaning out your engine. think about it. its just the right way to do it, just as u add a fuel pump when u mod, u should tap into the right lines when u do this.

14 is fine.

If I remember correctly I think mitsu themself install the boost gauge off that line. It won't slide off, if it's zip tied. They definately wouldn't put it on that line if it risked leaning out the engine that easily.

It also matters where he ran the wire through the firewall, if he went through the passanger side his spot isn't bad at all since it's already on that side. But if he drilled through on the driver side the diverter valve may be a better choice.

Calling Autometer sounds like a good idea.

I'm around 20 also. If I step on the clutch it goes to around 24 or so.

Hey guys, what kind of tube did you use for the line so that it doesn't get any kinks in it?
