I have 14k miles on mine. No grip issues. I sometimes get a slight chatter when the car isn't warmed up yet, but goes away quickly. I haven't launched the car though.

I had my stock clucth last about 55K miles and she would have probably gone another 10K but did want to risk it (daily driver). The clutch enguagement was already adjusted to its max point and enguagement was way high. The throw out bearing was hella noisy as well and I had the clucth replaced with an ACT clutch plus a lightened flywheel. Whle I was at WORKS there was a red 2003 evo that was in for a cluctch replacement and the person who owned it had like 100K on the stock clutch. Most of us can barely get to 40K muchless than 100K he he he.

i put 11k on mine in a bit over 5 months...and i drive mine pretty hard. clutch is still perfect just like the day i drove it off the lot.

ppl that are burning it out at 4k or whatever....are u sure it wasn't due to abuse or lack of knowledge about driving an AWD/manual car? i think it is...

16,000 miles, 60 drag strip launches, 4 crazy autocross races, and shes finally starting to wear. I havent adjusted it yet, but its starting to lock me out of gears.

(Also let my girlfriend's mom drive it, who smoked it so bad that I shed a tear when she got out)

You don't burn a clutch up from stalling out on a hill.

There's no way that you can drive "properly" and burn out a clutch in 3-8k miles. Back to the drawing board on driving manual

16k miles, I launch every once in a while...still holding up fine.
However, my brakes are another story

There is and never was anything wrong with the EVO clutch.

Unless you drag race all the time, if you need a new clutch in less the 10-20K miles, you need to change your driving technquies.

have about 5k miles, clutch still holding but the engagement point is high, and the clutch is pretty stiff from day one, so I don't know if I need to adjust it.
