Evo VIII Final dyno results
Ok just got back from Dougs Dynopower here in henderson, nv . Very nice guy by the way. It is a mustang dynometer and i was running 91 oct at 21 lbs of boost.
Autometer boost guage was about 4 psi off , so defi guages are the next thing up.
Car made 269.5 whp / 282.7 torque
What you guys think these are decent numbers for my mods ?

350whp on what dyno? You can't just refer to WHP in a vaccuum - it depends on tons of factors. No, you will not reach 350whp on THAT type of dyno with the stock turbo without a built engine and tons of mods. Cams and meth are you only 2 remaining mods to maximize the stock turbo. You might get 320-330whp/340-350wtq with cams + meth + custom flash.

Just because DEFI is expensive doesn't mean it's accurate. Autometer mechanical doesn't automatically suck just as the DEFI won't automatically be accurate. The only truly accurate boost gauge is when using a MAP sensor.
What scares me is that you were driving around thinking you were running 25psi on 91oct and didn't turn the boost down. It also doesn't make sense to have much higher torque than HP unless your boost is fairly high. We only see discrepancies like that with boost levels above 22psi on the stock turbo...especially with 91oct, since you can't give a lot of timing at peak boost.

Yes, 21 is fine, but you made it sound like you were running 25psi on your boost gauge only to find out it was really 21psi. What really happened is you were driving around at 18psi all this time thinking it was 21psi, which makes more sense.
I've seen Autometer's be "right on" and DEFI's be "way off." Don't get fooled by a few local examples. Try to read all the examples here on EvoM, then consider the extreme cost of the DEFIs...kinda like how you bought that Tial BOV for no apparent reason.
