Wow...given Mitsubishi's attitudes on warranty and their willingness to deny warranty coverage based on temperature, moon-phase and your astrological sign, I'd say trade it off now; buy a Camry and sleep soundly at night.

no the fuggin gauge doesn't void the warranty. I've already had small repairs done to my car. They actually like the fact that I have a boost gauge and turbo timer. But hey that's just the dealership I go to.

I've been pretty careful with hanging onto my factory warranty too. I have the 10yr/100K mile one on my '04 so I haven't modded anything except for rims, a VG, and a boost guage. I have the Defi D boost guage and the dealership hasn't had any trouble with it.
So the guage isn't going to void your warranty.

I know a boost gauge would solve all of this but, i dont want to put a boost gauge in just yet. Im pretty sure that would void my warranty, the car just felt faster the first day i got it, now this just might be because im getting used to it, but then again it seems like after about 4800 rpms it starts to die, like not just a taper.
I have an extended warranty, so i dont want to put a gauge in and void any type of warranty, should i just bring it back to the dealer and tell them? Sorry for being such a noob, just trying to get some feedback from you wiser evo-ers
Thanks in Advance!

Per the other recommendations have a boost test (pressure test) performed....
