Try Mercury. I've heard good things about them and their rates are pretty good. I've been a AAA memeber for 4 years and am thinking of switching to Mercury. They also insure mods!

try getting a quote from allstate. I'm 23 and I'm paying $135 a month with them. I just got insurane with them two weeks ago and I got quotes from EVERYONE and they were the least expensive for me. I do have a nearly perfect driving record with one not-at-fault accident but no tickets or anything else.

File your insurance with your parents. Put them on the policy also and then just give them the money. Im 18 and only pay 140/mo.

That is ridiculous. Time for something new. Your driving record isnt helping you out any. I pay less than $600 every six months with state farm. Granted I am 29 and have a clean driving record.

Yes I actually did, they quoted me about $575 per month. With basic coverage and $500 deductibles...I think im just going to get married because that lowers insurance cost a lot. I was getting quotes from $280- $350 per month from various companies for putting down married and good student discount. BUt im just going to keep trying even saving a few hundred bucks every six months will help. Thanks for all your feedback guys...

I'm pretty sure common law marriages are common where you live...I don't think they will ask you for a marriage certificate. Just tell them your wife doesn't touch the evo and give them some name and age of a person who will never drive your car.

If they quote you that high, you will most likely find high rates like that from all the other companies.

i am 26 with no tickets and i am paying 2600 a year for my evo and it just went up 300 since the last 6 months so i am looking for someone else right now progressive came in low but a 600 a year increase is not going to work.

what my friend did was put his bad driving record on his 92 civic and had basic coverage for like 180 a month, then he had his truck full coverage for only 80 a month.

with 2 accidents and your age... you're going to have to pay that much. defensive driving might help.

All of you guys are paying too much... I pay $148.00 per month. Full coverage on the Evo and liability on the 96' S10. Believe it or not they even came thru when a uninsured motorist hit my evo... 20 days after i got it. I ended up having $1,900.00 left over too.

Give em' a call... Encompassinsurance.com I believe they are owned by Alltel but have way better rates.
