Got speeding ticket and I wasn't speeding

Ok. So i couldn't sleep and decided to go for a cruise around. I decided to drive around here, fort lauderdale, to explore. I was cruising at about 51mph when i saw the cop. He was between two trees off the side of the road. I then breaked down to around 40mph because I wasn't sure if the limit was 45 or 35. We made eye contact when i passed him farther down the road and i knew he saw me brake. He then pulled me over.\

I ask him, if there's was problem. He answered me with something like, "you are pulled over". I tell him i don't know what the problem is, i wasn't speeding. He then said he clocked me going 61, my radar did not go off at any point. He then says u must have broke after i clocked you and when my radar went off. ****. Im def bringing this to court

What a freaking waste of time. Im going to turn in this not guilty plea. Anyone know if i can deal with this ticket any faster than waiting for my court date? Maybe by talking with the DA prior? I just wanna get this over with asap.

Any advice for my court date is greatly appreciated. thanks.

i asked him if i could see the speed he clocked me at on his radar. He then said that his radar clears the speed after it's clocked, which doesn't along with what i've heard about radars.

I told him i broke down to 40 after i saw him. and he said, "how could u see me in the dark when i was hidden behind a tree"

I got pulled over the other day for speeding. Good thing for me it was a MP on base and he was a EVO FAn!. He let me go with a warning.

But I know if it was a regular COP, I would of been busted!..

guys this is your get out of jail free card.. so u can thank me after you win this case FOR SURE!..

UCC 1-207-1

http://www.worldnewsstand.net/freedom/ucc4.htm

you may read about it there. basically it states that IF there is no hurt party present that he officer does NOT have the right to issue you the ticket. and all those radars do save those speeds so ask to see the evidance. and IF you dont want to do the ucc thing then do this. ask the judge if you have the right to inspect the radar that clocked you (he will say yes). then you ask the judge to furnish the "source code" for that radar so you can read it and make sure there isnt any possibly mistakes in the code. (this is almost a sure fire way to WIN ANY speeding ticket, they judge will have to call the company that made that scanner. that company will NOT give out the precious code (b/c people can copy it) so if they cant furnish the code then the case will be dismissed (same way as if the cop doesnt show up to court)). hope this helps you man. let me know how it goes.

I got pulled doing 30 in a 35 because i saw a cop behind me and he followed me on my *** for a few miles so i went slow....he then pulls me over and i ask him whats the problem...

he asked me if i knew the speed limit...and i said it was 35 but since you were on my *** i didn't want to risk a ticket so i went 30...

he then made me take a DUI test in the parking lot and soon after i drove home....

waste of time

People like you are why we have traffic laws. I'm sure you guys would not exceed the speed limit if there were no penaltys for doing so ( yeah right).

wow good luck with that. i got a ticket a few years back for doing 96 in a 70 on my way to san francisco. i was only going around 81. the cop was going the other direction and cut across the dirt and made a u turn after he passed me (i saw him turning around after he passed me going the other way) so as soon as he is going my direction he turns on his lights, by this time im only going 75 and i change lanes into the slow lane which is going 55 for some reason. he hangs back for a bit and after about a half mile he pulls up fast gets behind me and pulls me over. i exit another half mile up the freeway and he says he clocked me on radar 5 miles back. so i know he just turned around and i ask to see the gun and he says he didnt lock in the speed. i said arnt you supposed to and he said he doesnt have it and i said arnt you supposed to be able to show it to me and he said i can fight the ticket if i want. i fought trial by declaration because the court was at least 3-4 hours away and wrote exactly what happened. i probably shouldnt have mentioned that i was going 80 but either way i was looking for a reduced fine if i couldnt get off all together. i got neither. paid 400 including traffic school costs.

You'll be able to fight it, and probably payless but i doubt they would drop it all together, cops always have the upperhand in these things at court
