another broken evo
So I was sitting at a stop light and the light turned green. I ran through first and as I was shifting into 2nd it died. I pulled over and it clicks with no problem but won't turn at all. After looking under the hood nothing seems out of place. If I turn the ignition on and listen for the walbro I hear nothing. I think it should give a little whine as it always does, but it makes no noise at all.
Do you think its my fuel pump?

I was racing at an autoX and it QUIT also. I got NOTHING when I turned the key, it was like I was in an AMISH automobile. check the fuseable link on the starter. that was my problem. follow the wires off the starter, you will find your problem. got to get under the car I believe.
Edit: I re-read your post. you are getting it to turn over, MINE DIDN'T, so you don't have this problem. sorry.

Edit: Nevermind, now you're saying the engine will turn over. I'm confused.

ok, when you turn the key if your getting a nice rhythmic crank over, your starter is doing its job, from that point you go to spark and fuel, pop out your pump put power directly to it from the battery with a wire or something then ground it and see if it runs, if it dosent your pump is broken. if not you have to find out why your not getting power to the pump via the stock harness, go from there, fuel pump relay and so on
