I would understand if they just gave you a ticket for the speeding and the license and told you to get it renewed asap. But impounding your car. That cop must have been having a bad day and took it out on you. A buddy of mine had his car impounded once, but he was driving with a suspended license and had an open container and marajuana in his car. I would fight this all the way.
