Hey guys I recently ordered a tt off a member on the forums. I am going to install it today but I am not sure if it is a type-0 or a type-1. Is there anyway to tell? The tt has the main harness that goes to the igniton and then 4 additional wires....blue/red,silver/red,brown/black and black/brown. It also has a number of the bottom of it "cx01943" tried looking that up on the hks website and came up with nothing. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance...

 

type-0 has a orange/red light and type-1 has blue. guess you'll have to hook it up to find out. i've learned to live without a TT, but it would be convenient.

 

You have the type 1 i just installed mine last week

 

Hey thx a lot for the quick resposes guys...Now its just gotta stop raning over here...Was it hard to tap the ECU wires for the 0-60, 1/4 mile time and all that stuff?

 

no problem, here is the web site from HKS where you can download installation instructions if you dont have any. it took me about a half an hour to install it.

Yup its a type-1 streetshow you were right....Install was very easy, Didnt do all the extra stuff to the ecu because the speed shows in kph according to hksusa.com. I have the silver one and the black one is the one that comes in mph...Thanks a lot for the help guys very easy install....
