Searching the EVO-car-carrier :)
Hi peepz,
On 28th september my mitsu dealer mailed me to inform me that my EVO IX has boarded a ship in Japan, and at the 3th of November it will arrive here in Belgium in te harbor.
I was wondering if there is a possibility to find out the name of that ship.
I'm working on the tugboats in the harbor over here, and we often tow car-carriers in the harbor.
So i think it would be nice to know the name of the ship my EVO is on, so i can know when my EVO arrives over here.
I also have a programme on the computer that allows me to track (live) the ships all over the world. But if i don't know the name of that ship it will be hard to find
So.....does anyone know the name of the car-carrier that has a load of evo's on it, and that's on it way to Europe? I dont think that there are allot of ships with evo's on it though....
Ben

Since you have access to the harbor's vessel schedule (i'm assuming), simply find out what steamship line Mitsu uses for its car containers, find out when your container was loaded onto the port of origin, estimate its travel time into port and then simply check what vessels are arriving into port in or around that ETA.

I don't have the Vessels Schedule
I can only see where the ships are at this moment because i have a program that picks up their position signal.
In this image you can see the harbor of Tokyo, Kawasaki and Yokohama. You can also see the ships that are over there.
So if i know the name of the ship (which has probably left the harbor by now) i can see where it is right now.
