Hey guys,

We've been getting a lot of requests for sound clips on the Helix EVO exhaust system lately, so I put together sound video clips!

Here's what's being recorded on the exhaust side:

-Helix V2 Cat-back Exhaust
-Helix V2 Downpipe
-Helix test-pipe (catless)
-Helix 02 Housing
-Maxford Header
-10.5 Hotside

So basically the car's fully opened up on the exhaust side. Additional mods are:
Helix ultra-light cams & cam gears, Greddy BOV, Gruppe-S/Ecutek reflash. On this particular pull the car put down 311whp, 325ft/lbs @ 1.75 bar (~98 octane tune). The car is quick, much quicker than what you can take a stock turbo STI to, even on race gas. The exhaust is very manageable, less than 95 decibels (per DMV measurement criteria) if you guys so request I'll post some in car video clips during freeway cruising later.

So It won't Sound Quiet like that if i Get a TBE from you, sounds Sick though. Do you have one of just the The TBE, Mainly with out cams That realy changes the Sound.

sounds good but usually an evo 8 with cams n a tune sound make 330 shouldnt it?

Perhaps on a dynojet on 93 octane, but we have a Mustangdyne and on 91 octane pump gas, there has been maybe 3-4 EVO's that have broken 300whp on the stock 16G (10.5). 320whp is about as much as the stock 16G turbo will do on race gas at 1.8 bar. There are EVO's running low 11's at 400whp on our dyno

I actually didn't notice a whole lot of difference with the cams. The cat-delete made a big difference though.

that helix exhaust sounds good... I notice there is no mid resonator, does it drone inside? Im looking to replace my buschur catback if I cant get rid of that drone.

The exhaust doesn't drone, it's not as quiet as a Greddy EVO, but it's totally reasonable cruising on the freeway. I have some clips cruising on the freeway, I'll post it up later.
