Is it possible to manually adjust the height of the HIDs on an MR?

I love the way that you can adjust the heigh of the HIDs from within the car, but the highest setting is a bit lower than I had hoped and I was just wondering if it is possible to say put the HIDs to the highest setting and then manually adjust the height as one would do with aftermarket HIDs. This way I could have them shoot a bit higher if I ever felt it was necessary, rather than always driving with them on the highest setting like I am now.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm mechanically retarded so I hope someone can tell me if this is possible or just call me an idiot because it's imposible.

that wont work for the 06 and 05 ... not sure about earlier... because they put a metal bend above the adjustments so you cant adjust them... take it to the dealer... they will do it, not sure how much they will charge

My HIDs aren't Even,, one is slightly higher than the Other, Alot of things are out of adjustment on my Car Come to think of it, I have been Fixing them Slowly by slowly. I just did the Clutch, It started Slipping on the Higway and I only 1500 miles, It turns out the Switch on the Top side of the Peadal was pushing on the Bar and Keeping the Pedal From coming all the Way up, but it was Easier to Adjust the Master Cylnder rod instead. This is From Factory, The rod had to be Turned 3 times Counterclockwise.

The drivers side light should be lower the the passenger side. This is to prevent you from blinding oncoming traffic.

Works fine on my 06 MR. Only have i seen a few like this in the past, there is a picture here somewhere on the forums showing the arm or brace blocking the adjustment. I had no problem whatsoever, i just hope my headlights start adjusting themselves.

ok so this definitely works for the IX MRs?

Also, by doing this I won't be screwing up the automatic control from inside the car will I? It will still work like normal?

maybe it could be different depending on the cars? Most of my friends with aftermarket HIDs aim higher than I do on my highest setting.
