Got my cams in :) (Picture intensive)
Yep, It was a regular work on some evo's day for me and a few friends. I got my cams installed with minimal issues. Used plenty of assembly lube, bled the lifters, made sure timing was all lined up before and after. Had an odd tick at first, but like most of the forum threads i read beforehand said, it went away after about 10 minutes. ARP headstuds go in next weekend, then off to bushur for a tune on the 13th Enjoy the pics.

You should have done the head studs at the same time!!!!! That way you could have driven on them (heat cycled) and then re-torqued them next weekend. If you are going to do the one by one method You want to heat cycle and re-torque. I did that and between the install and the re-torque I had a very slight oil leak. After re-torque they were perfect!!!

I love the sounds fast cars make: whining FP, lopey/choppy idle, throat rattling exhaust. Good stuff. Your cams will smooth off after the tune of course but 272s just sound so nice. Enjoy screaming to redline!

I just put in my head.. I was told to just take the lifters out and put them back the exact place I got them. So I took them and put them back..... no ticking what so ever. No bleeding.
