Stock evo dosent feel like it pulls hard.

I have had my car for about 3 weeks now, i remember when i got it i loved it and how it pulled. Now everytime i go driving i stomp on it and it feels like it just dosent pull. Am i just getting use to the pull in as little as 3 weeks and it feels slow now is that what happend with some of you guys?

Check bto make sure the throttle cable didn't slip out of that little holder thing on the front of the engine it seems to dampen throttle response when ever that happends to my car.

ya the car is past its break in period, and im glad that it happens to other people, i was starting to think something was wrong with my evo guess not.

its wierd it feels like my car is fast only when it needs to be its like a lazy evo. whenever im daily driving it feels almost slow bt whenever i autocross it it feels like a bat outa hell. go race it and you will realize how fast it is again

yeah you get used to the power and it doesn't seem to pull as hard as it did! just call buschur or AMS they have the medicine for this illness! it worked for me but i still have to call every once in awhile to get my perscription refilled!

Yea i had the same problem. Now even with my mods i think my car is slow

it is slow, but its a great platform to start your projects.

I do the same, DD I shift at 3K rpms and accel slow, but when I autoX or drive hard from time to time it feel the things come to life. especially when I need to get over someone.

but I am getting used to the power also. that is why I keep asking my gf to let me drive her scion so when I get back in my car I get the WOW factor back.

Try different throttle techniques. I found stomping on the throttle of a turbo car is not nearly as rewarding as rolling into it. Try to quickly roll into the throttle at about 3750rpms in second or third gear, that seems to be the most entertaining thing for me that has yet to get old. Although my car was never stock…
