That being said, I am weeks away from doing burnouts in my 4G powered FC.

I used to think that putting a Chevy motor into an RX-7 was sacrilege, but the idea just keeps growing on me. An awesome chassis like the FC with a powerful, reliable engine would be a complete monster. The biggest problem I could see is getting the gobs of torque to the ground in such a small, lightweight car.

I dont know if it has been mentioned but LS1 Rx7's are now the big thing with 7's. Sure rotaries are nice, but damn good search up hisonmotorsports or something along the lines of that and check out some videos of them.
I would love to have both evo and Rx7 but if I had to choose dd without modifiying etheir..it would be evo. Now with Rx7 LS1 swap, perfect power to weight ratio and decent DD abilities. Both are kickass cars, go look at some threads over at www.supraforums.com and you'll find plenty of information on them. :bigthumb:

So far the ls1 rx7 is at the top of my list. I would have to get a second car to drive in winter though, but that can be a cheap beater car. Plus, after the ls1 conversion the total should be about 15k so i could do a lot for the suspension and brakes and interior. It would definately be a fun little car. Ive just never owned an american muscle car so i would miss having a turbo.
