I don't, but if you give Jay a call at the shop tomorrow and he can give you the details and I'm sure he has pics.

wide body running 305+ in the rear... problem solved.

oh man i love that mystic of replacing engines every 10 oil changes.

you apparently dont' know that there's a huge intercooler and other turbo junk hanging off the front end of that cute lil 1.3 liter 200 pound rotory that adds tons of weight. and when you mount an aluminum smallblock in such a tight area crammed all the way to the firewall weight distribution doesn't change.

^^^+1. Ive heard that the LS1 swap keeps the weight distribution close to 50/50 and doesnt weight anymore than the 13B. Id consider doing it, but its just too expensive for me.

Anyone who did the LS1 swap turbo charge it? Just wondering if there's any room under the hood for the work necessary? Not to mention more space for the BIG IC necessary too.

Thx

Why in the hell would you need to turbocharge it? An Rx7 with an LS1 swap already has enough traction issues I think supercharging is the more common form of forced induction found for LS-1 motors (plenty of kits around)

there's not enough room for a turbo. there's plenty of room for a stroker!

Heads/Cam and a nice shot is more than enough. Ls1's are seeing 500rwhp with aggressive H/C packages. Add a little 150 shot and in a 2800lb FD you'll have 9 second power.

yeah, i wouldn't worry about turbo'ing it. you have to remember that every LS1 is touched by god before being sent out of the factory. they are very stout motors.

just like mentioned above - people with a nice h/c combo and running a XX shot of nitrous are hitting 10's in the quarter.

hey I think I’ll put a sc'ed ls1 in my evo, convert it to rwd and tub the rear! 1st 7 second evo and more reliable than any of the 9 or 8 second ones! What was I thinking moding my silly 4cylender when there are ls1's out there??

these conversations never turn out well but if the rotory was better and the rx7's engine bay wasn't so V8 friendly you wouldn't see these LS1, 5.0, and 4.6 swaps.

edit * i believe someone has also done a 2.3 - the same one on your Xr4Ti, carl.
