could this be a reason for missing boost?

Allrite so I have forge mbc on my evo but I can't get the boost level ti raise over 18psi and in sum gears it doesn't go that high, but anyways when you remove the stock vacuum line next to the boost control sensor thingy if that isn't plugged could that affect boost? Thanks in advance

Adding to that no matter how much I turn my boost controller up or down the boost level doesn't change why cud that be

What spring are you using? If you got the old batch of the Forge's, the soft spring was only good up to 19psi or so, thus you would have to use the stiff spring.

I would look up the "How-to" on the Forge MBC and make sure everything is hooked up according to the write up. If everything is correct, you are probably using the wrong spring.

I hope you get it figured out.

yeah, just get the stiff spring, turn it all the way down, and adjust from there. contact Forge and they will send you the spring, and it's easy to replace.
