TIAL BOV installed but sounds like compresser suresurge???
ok i just got done installing my TIAL bov installed. but sounds like compresser suresurge???
it makes that whiffle sound. even under vaccume and it sounds like its comming from the air filter. and under boost it kinda goes psshhand at the same time it makes a whiffle sound. i would post a sound clip but i dont have anything to record it.
does any one have a sound clip of an evo with compressure surge and a clip of an evo with a Tial BOV?
ps... my flame sute is on

Are you running stock turbo?
If so you shouldn't be using an aftermarket bov meant for upgraded turbo's
strong bov's like Tial will flutter under partial throttle.

You probably have the 11psi spring in it since that what all the vendors sell them with.
You need to select the correct spring pressure based on how much vacumm your car pulls at idle.
Tial has a chart on their website: http://www.tialsport.com/documents/w3_tial_bov50_sp.pdf

Edit* Unless your under accel. then the surge makes the BOV flutter.
