Depends on which you like and trust better. I have the Turbo XS one and it works great with my 35r.

Stay away from the ebay FMIC.. I purchased one just for ****s because there were so many mixed opinions and the thing doesn't even fit. Mainly the the angle on the inlet/outlet. I'm not even going to mention the brackets.

I wouldn't even think of one! I think I have to wait for the Nisei..... I don't want to wait but I don't want any other FMIC.

The core and tanks are OK. I ended up making a temporary jig from the stock IC, and ordered a 90 deg aluminum mandrel bend to make new inlet/outlet ports. I just want to see how much work is involved to make one fit, then publish the time and cost to show ppl that they really don't save that much $$$ by going with these units.

Just get an AMS unit...they had a sale on them a while back for 630shipped...I'm sure if you look in the forums or call them up you can find one for a decent price.

4" thick, Damn! I measured 4" between the fan motor and the back of the bumper reinforcement. It would be a tight fit.

the ebay fmic for the evo fits perfectly....you need straight couplers and not the factory hoses. As for the mounts the side ones fit perfectly but the top one takes a slight bend....matter fact you can see the mark where you need to bend it becasue they outlined it

AMS is a great unit, I'd suggest looking into it. Fitment is perfect, looks good, and functions well. Plenty of high HP cars out there running it.
