Crash bar for JDM Evo IX bumper
I have an 03 Evo that I changed the rear bumper cover to the JDM Evo IX bumper cover. Since the stock crash bar didn't fit I worked with a local fabricator had had this made. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Since it doesn't show with the bumper cover installed I thought I would show it off here. It bolts to the stock location and has tabs for the license plate and slots for the license plate lights.

How close (or far away) is the stock bar from fitting with the JDM rear cover? Do you think a little trimming would do, or is there just no way you could ever use it at all?
That custom unit is pretty nice looking. I bet you could easily sell quite a few of them!

I'll talk to the fabricator to see if he wants to make more. We spent quite a while getting this one right so at least the hard part is done.

I talked with the fab shop and he said he would make as many as I want. I paid $320 total for mine and he said that he would hold that price.
