Installing oil pressure gauge on the car - questions
Since theres no stock oil gauge on the car, how did you guys go about hooking it up? Also, maybe some step by step instructions from someone who put theirs in?
also, off topic, but how much is the stock boost on the 03 evo 8s? and how much boost can it hold before it trails off?
Thanks for the help.

Here you go... this is the best write-up I've found, and 42draftdesigns is a great place to buy gauges...

The Stewart Warner gauges are really nice for the price. I like them so much better than the Autometer's. Autometer gauges look cheap and outdated to me, even the new Nexus series. I also have the 42nd draft designs panel. The only thing I dont like about it is that the gauges are not angled towards the driver. It makes a small difference. At least they dont block my view like when the gauges were on the a-pillar though, that was annoying.

kind of confused about the directions in the evom link, i understand the take off oil filter, drain oil from plan, and remove the plug from the block, thats all easy. says screw the pressure sending unit fitting into the place where you removed the plug, then in step #15 it says screw in the oil temperature sending drain plug ... shouldnt you just need the sending unit for the gauge to work? since there is no need to have a temperature sending unit for the oil ..., unless is there a stock 1?

[QUOTE=kapolani]It depends on what gauges you have and what type of fitting you are using.I have the Defi gauges so I needed to get these:

This adapter lets you use one pressure or temp sender. What do you do when you want to run both a temp and pressure sender?
