Ebay exhaust...

Now I've read what most everyone's position is on the ebay products however this exhaust looks really good to me based on the idea that it is pretty hard to mess up piping... Its all 3", has very slight bends, and solid looking welds...

My question is if down the road I wanted a slightly different sound out of the car how hard would it be to attach perhaps a hks high power to the existing piping of the turbo back? (or basically any other muffler)

Check out the exhaust

I hope that restrictor in the rear muffler is removable?!
Also, can't really tell 110%, but the bends on the rear section look like they're press-bent, not mandrel, although that could be a photo illusion.

Personally, spend a little more and get something tried and tested like Megan or Perrin or similar...

just cut the old one off where the new one needs to mount to and either put a band on it or weld a new flange.

the restrictor is removable. It's one small bolt that holds it in.

Fittment may be an issue, and also after you take out the silencer, the inside of the muffler may not be a true 3". Can't tell by the pictures. I also agree that the bends in the exhaust look cheap.

I say try it. It looks good. The Bends look good too. Im pretty sure the seller would take a pic of the inside of the muffler for you if youd ask.

I wanted this exhause as well but it was too uh.. shiny.. not thats its bad, I just didnt want to get pulled by the man.

it looks good, but looks can be deceiving, im not a fan of ebay parts, one guy i did a downpipe for bought an ebay downpipe that was catless and it hit the front diff, so i had to hit it with a ball peen hammer to make it not rub on the diff. i would personally go with at least a megan exhasut, they arent bad for the price if thats wat your worried about.

I think the exhaust looks good. Read the reviews on the other post and they look good. But I'm still of the opinion, we bought a nice and somewhat expensive car, why would you add something cheap to it?
