Turboback exhaust

hey kind of a very gneral question about a turboback exhaust i have read many things on the forum but would like to hear a little bit more. If i were to put a turboback on my evo IX what exatcly would happen negatively? CEL? loss of power at high RPM's? (read that in the forum) also read that i should put a spacer where the o2 sensor taps into the exhaust..?

the spacer would be a mechanical cel fix. it is supposed to make it so that you dont trip the cel but it happens sometimes anyways. there are really no negative effects that i can feel on my car after the exhaust, all that i noticed was that the turbo hit harder and the car made a hell of a good sound. i love it it is probably one of the best investments ever. definately get one you will like it. i got the ams exhaust and wouldnt have done it any other way

if you remove the cat you will get a cel and will need to get 2 anti-foulers for the 02 sensor. you may also experience overboosting, due to a full tbe.
search- tbe,anti-fouler

I have the buschur racing TBE and i have the CEL fix for my car an i throw a CEL every other day or so if i drive it hard. If not then i get maybe 2 weeks before it'll throw. Im gonna wipe off the sensor and see if that helps and if not then ill just be getting the perrin electronic fix.

I think thats the route I'm going to go with as well. I have a no name TP sitting at home, but I think I will just sell it and get the UR TP or just a HF cat.

tripperfx3 ,With the UR testpipe?
I have the RMR downpipe and RMR catback and UR tp. Had it on my 03 and 06 not one cel. The design on the Ultimate racing test pipe is interesting. Theres a bung welded to the side with a tiny hole. I guess its enough air for the sensor to read but not enough to throw a code

you will not lose power on high rpm...you will only gain.

if any lose, you will barely loose low end but your turbo will spool faster.
