Metric Hardware

With the assortment of people and vendors on this site, somebody has to have a link to a place that sells metric hardware at a decent rate.

Like a deal on misc m6-m12 or 14 bolts, various lengths, fine and coarse.

Nuts, washers, etc. Maybe even an assortment set.

Hopefully we'll find a place.

thanks guys.

You can try www.mcmaster.com and look for an assortment

Another great place, local to me but does mail order, is the Nutty Company in Derby, CT

It's VERY difficult to find nuts & bolts for the car. I had to look for an M10x1.25 nut the other day and not even places like mcmaster carried them.

metric fine thread is very hard to find as it is just not used in industry. I know you don't want to hear this, but your best bet is to go to the dealer for metric fine thd fasteners. I use McMaster all the time and they're great, but no metric fine thread as already stated.

i can find it, thats not the issue. lowes carries fine thread.

but to find it at a reasonable price is something else.

thats why i'm willing to drop the $100-$150 bucks to make myself a complete assortment so that i'll never be trying to find a bolt that needs replaced, or is lost.

look at sears hardware stores, those are separate from regular sears stores and have more selections than nuts'n'bolts aisles.

I always just go to autozone or advanced auto parts...or pep boys...they all carry bolts for this car (in large kits).

Do you have Ace Hardware in your area?

That's where we usually go for in-stock stuff ready to go. They have a nice metric section.

Lows (I prefer Depot, but have not sure if they have it too) has a little metric hardware section too.

Ensure the Pep Boys/Autozone/Ace bolts are Zinc coated at least and grade 10.9 if your using them for exhaust. I've yet to find a good metric flange-bolt and flange-nut anywhere but online. Usually the stuff I see at the auto parts stores are garbage.

I can get any size bolt you need. Only down side, you have to order 100pcs at a time.
