Damn. I have read about those things but never really paid attention. Sounds pretty freaking sweet ... for a truck. If I had to get a truck, I wouldn't mind having one of those bad boys. Enjoy.

Truck

That's cool. I go through those similar stages every now an then. One day I'll want an SUV, truck, Hybrid, or family sedan. I just get different urges to get somethng I don't have. It's not that I'm unhappy with the EVO. You have to ask yourself what meets your needs? What will you get the most use out of and be satisfied driving everyday.

That's what made me decide on the EVO. I can drive it through the snow, take the kids to soccer, store loads of groceries, and still enjoy modding it.

In the end, it's your money and your decision. Good luck. You can always get an EVO again later on in life.

Today I did it! After driving every full size pickup (dodge, ford, toyota, nissan and chevy) I bought me a 2006 Nissan Titan XE 4x4 king cab. All I can tell you is, the Titan drives like a sports car and handles very well. I use to have a 98 Camaro Z28 and the Titan sounds almost like it. It has so much power and such fast pickup that after driven every car, the Titan was the best overall. Now I can just throw my R1 in the bed and take it to race tracks. Yeeha!

Oh, heres the deal. Nissan has a special going on ($2750 in rebate or 0% financing for 60mnths) and the dealer I got it from matched the Nissan rebate too. The Titan sticker was a little over $29k, after $5500 rebate, I got my brand new 06 Titan for $24k + 3.2% state tax. I looked everywhere and no one could match this deal.

thats a good deal man.. the titan is a nice truck. its good for 15 second 1/4 miles.. 0-60 in the mid 7's.. very respectable for a 4x4 full sized truck. which organization do you race with. i have some friends that live out that way and race with the mra. whats your racing number?

Well, I do some racing at an old airport (Stapleton). I haven't been doing a lot of racing because I didn't have a truck to tow it there so I did a lot of amature racing. I plan on racing with the MRA next summer though.

They both serve their purposes. You can't really compare the two, if you need a truck for towing, hauling, etc then an evo wont do you any good.
