yea... it's stupid loud, only had it on for 2 days and i can't stand it anymore. now the question is will HKS high power fit with turboxs' downpipe and test pipe? if it does, will it stick out of the bumper? anybody has this set up and how does it sound? thanx a lot guys

if it's too loud for you why don't you take it toa muffler shop and have them cut and weld a resonator on. They also sell resenator cat deleats. 2 of them should quit you down alot. It's probaly cheaper then selling yours and buying another.

I don't mind loud, As long as i Get some Reasonable performance out of it. But my Freind has a hks with a helix DP and Ultimate Racing Test pipe, His isn't all too loud, like when he WOT it gets pretty loud, but if you drive normaly it doesn't sound stock but Not like honda loud. So it sounds just right IMO. But As I said before I don't mind being loud.

I have a megan racing dp with a turboxs cat delete and cat back

unless I'm wot it's sound output is reasonable

on my 05 STi I had an invidia tbe...1436386754 times louder than my evo

mabye you have sensitive ears...if you don't like it get something else my man

turbo xs is really freaking loud... i just wanna swap out the cat back, i wonder if hks HIPOWER would fit with turboxs' downpipe and test pipe...

I have a turbo xs tbe and it is not that much louder definately a deeper tone than before. The HKS is definately louder than the TXS

It will fit as long as the turbo xs test pipe is a 2 bolt pattern instead of 3. Where is your o2 bung? I have the one in my hipower catback and there is rubbing issues, I pounded out the bottom of my car a little and now it fits fine

the HI power isnt that loud (from the clips i've heard) it acutally sounds the best IMO over other brands

i had TurboXS and couldnt wait to get rid of it. if my Evo was a track only car, great... but as a DD, I couldnt hear the CD playing!! switched to Fujitsubo. like stock, unless u go WOT, then its pretty loud

I have the Turbo XS TBE, DP, no cat & find it compared to other TB not loud, that it has a loud Humm, yea but why have a Turbo car

i have the turbo xs but I still have the stock cat on and its not loud at all. So maybe try that out.

i honestly think that the exhaust doesnt sound loud enough so im just waiting for my test pipe

there is a difference between pleasant loud, like a corvette or an AMG sounds, and ugly loud, like a 20y old buick sounds when you take its catalytic off.

considering we have 4cyl engines, its difficult to pick the right TBE, for that right sound. i doubt anyone wants their Evo to sound like a Harley Chopper without a silencer that you can hear from 8 blocks away, and that scares the whole block

that is the problem with our cars. A 4cylinder just isn't going to sound that good. But to add my 2cents in I say ETS FTW. Ets exhaust puts every1 elses to shame.
