My clutch has always had that clattering thing going on...the other day i noticed it had stopped. i soon found out that it only does it when the a/c is on...
weird, any explanations... it use to always do it whether the a/c is on or off
cheers!

If you want to get rid of this sound you got to buy powerflex motor mounts if you where to do your research you would know this. Powerflex is much more softer then the ams setup and yes you have to buy all 4 not just the frount one. Ill be running the ams setup all 3 mounts with the powerflex rear mount until i or someone can prove that the ams mounts can kill this sound i say stick with powerflex.

hmm... well that explains why it would get louder when the a/c is on... but y would it stop making that sound when the a/c is off... all the sudden.. it use to always do it whether the a/c is on or off...

You asked how to get rid of the sound i told you how so spend the extra money and get the mounts. If not your going to have to deal with it becasue the person who sold you the clutch would or should have told you this was going to happen. There are over 100+ post about the same thing why does my twin plate even single plate sound so loud.
