I believe it will put you in SM. Of course, so will cams or an aftermarket BOV for that matter.

I have counted my weight loss. I lose 88 lbs when I have my pass. seat out, and both upper and lower rear seats. Pass. was about 56 lbs. So 32 lbs or about for both parts of the rear seats. Spare with parts is about 35 lbs, but I cannot remember.

Some good info for more:

I think weight savings are good but I'd like to know a way of removing weight on the front of the car.
Since our car's weight distribution is like 60/40..I think removing weight on the front of the car would have a more positive effect on the handling.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Front - Battery, wheels, brakes, coil-overs, strutbar...bumper supports (for off road use only - not safe).

Coil-overs, tire choice, and sways are ways to make the handling great.

If you want to loose some weight in the car that is not the way to do it in my opinion. Street cars should be run as they are on the street.

Look at the parts you buy for your car. IF you are smart enough to know that weight will effect your performance then you should invest in parts that will help you meet that goal.

Our exhaust will take 37 pounds off an EVO, that is a full 3" turbo back compared to the stock stuff.

Our battery kit is 20 pounds lighter.

Coil overs, we have them on sale, the Apexi N1's are awesome and weigh 30.6 pounds less than stock.

Jack, tool kit and spare tire is 37 pounds

Our filter kit is 4.1 less than stock

You get the picture. If you have the choice of spending money on two parts that you THINK are going to perform about the same (most often they don't anyway) but one is lighter the choice should always be for the lighter part.

EVO is heavy anyway, over 200 pounds heavier than a DSM set up the same basic way. Take all the weight you can get. It breaks less parts, puts less stress on parts, the car stops, turns and accelerates faster too.
