Look, guys, this is not new stuff. Go to the EcuFlash forum if you have questions about EcuFlash and EvoScan. Don't start asking all these newbie questions in this thread when it's all answered in detail in the proper forum.

FartMuffler, there's no need for your tuner to tell you if there is knock, because the point of tuning is to make power without knock. What is making you be worried about it? Is it general ignorance that is causing you to wonder, or did something happen to make you think you were knocking?

You don't necessarily need the devices mentioned in this thread, but if you really really care, you just need to log the timing to see if it's getting pulled anywhere. Do that with a pocketlogger, any datalogger, or the aforementioned set of tools (laptop+evoscan+tactrix cable). The workarounds would be going to a shop to have them do it for you or finding a local Evo owner that has a clue.
