You could post in the area forums i.e. mid atlantic and see if anyone near you has the hardware.

Meet up with them and do some logging.

Or, you could go to a reputable shop that has the hardware and have them log it for you.

your tuner should tell you...its an important part of the tuning. if they dont, ask.

Yeah, lots of people use Evoscan - myself included. Install XP Service Pack 2 and the .NET Framework 1.1 and it should load just fine.

with the noise my car makes I cant hear any knock.
If you are looking for an answer for your Nissan the flash cable won't help. don't think he has software for you(?)
a good tuner will have a set of det cans.. earphones connected to your block, that is the cheapest I can think of.
find a tuner with the cans and have him give a listen.

thanks brad...i finally got it actually, i had to download 4 different programs, and since i am on a pirated xp, i dont get too many royalties anymore although i do have sp2 installed ... anyhow, its working now... do you think you could PM and give me a rundown of how to use the software, what gauges you run when the program is open, and what other things you did to set it up....
