PCV vs Breather hose = Amount of oil !
I've attached my oil catch tank to my breather hose (the usual place where everyone else connect to) and after 3 months, open the drain plug and it's BONE DRY !
I then pull out the PCV hose and it'll filled with oil !
It makes me wonder if I sound connect my oil catch tank to my PCV hose instead ? But WHY is everyone else connecting to the breather hose instead ? (Probably to ensure clean intake?)

now Im no expert however out of the 6 turbo/supercharged cars Ive owned (Daytona Shelby, SRT-4, Grand National, Merkur XR4Ti, 5.0 Mustang and Evo). The Evo is the only one that Ive been able to pull piping leading to the intake and not had it filmed with oil or worse puddled in the IC. I realized this when I bought a catch can (my SRT-4 fills the can every 6 months). Years of screwing with turbo cars had conditioned me to think that this is the 1st mod a turbo engine needs. To my suprise I ran a catch can on an Evo bone dry for a month before i said "forget it." the only thing I can think of is that the positive crank case pressure is routed behind (past) the throtle body (and piping). On the VIII There is a line going from a valve cover nipple directly to the intake so even if there was excess blowby or oil vapor youd never know or see it because Mitsu designed this as a turbo specific engine, or so id like to believe.

So, I'm not the only one seeing this.
For those guys with the Oil Catch Tank installed to the breather hose, do you see your tank filling up ?
My previous Honda K20 engine, I get quite a bit of oil though.
Thus, when I run it to the 4G63, I was shocked to see it bone dry !
