LOL this happens to me at the track all the time...and yes harleys suck too they get me on the streets...

Yah, by leaving it stationary in neutral and have this occur to me while loud vehicles pass by me, I must learn how to drive stick.

So this happens on the IX too??? great another thing to look forward to, along with the steering wheel coming apart, the seat squeaking, blowing off stock pipes, and all the paint chipping off.....hahah im still not scared!

Not sure if the IX's are that sensative. Maybe you can confirm from another IX owner.

As for the other issues you've heard about...I haven't even had those problems on my 03' VIII!?

i rember reading it on some muscle forums...the thread was ATTN: REV AT ALL LANCERS then when i read it they were saying if you rev at them and your car is loud enough the engine dies out. Btw, when i close my hood the car sounds like its going to stall.

I did the exact same thing. Didn't flinch. Revved a cammed 302 at it and it still didn't falter...

I've been sitting at idle next to some loud Harleys and i have not eperienced the dip in RPMs. I was also sitting next to pavement blasting construction and no effect either.
