steel wheels for IX?

just wondering if anyone knows the size and or place i can look online to pick up some steel wheels for my IX. Winter's coming up soon and i need to get some winter tires on her. Don't want to dismount and remount on the stock BBS's

thanks guys, and if anyone knows the smallest wheel i can fit to clear the brembo's that would be great as well.

Honestly I would just get a cheap set of rota wheels, or find a guy selling a stock set... I have both PM me. Best of luck!

You can get used stockers or Rota's pretty cheap (under $400 for a set).

Yeah, I went through this same thing.. looks like best (and cheapest) option is some stockers.. been seeing them go for about $400 in good condition... just need to find them in my area.

last year, i was thinking about getting 4 donut wheels and put 175s snow tires on them, then i decided to get snow tires for the stock wheels. but i think 235s are too wide for the snow.

Your kidding, right?

To answer the original question, steelies do exist. I believe they are only 16" though, and original equipment on JDM and Euro Evo RS's. That being said, they will not clear the brembos. (the non U.S. RS cars are typically purchased for being purpose build race cars, so they dont include things that teams would replace, like the brembos recaro seats alloy wheels air etc) The Rotas or used OEM rims are your best bet.

I remember a couple of years back, a guy on here found 17" steelies that cleared the brembos. I don't remember who or where they were from.

If you get those, don't forget the plastic spinner hubcaps

I thought of getting three more spare tires and using these + the original with snow tires.
I figure this narrow of tire would be crazy good in the snow. I looked on the Tire Rack and at 1010 Tires but couldn't find any tires that match the size molded in the sidewall of the spare. So, it must be that the only place you can buy another spare tire is from the dealer. Can this be correct?

tirerack gave me a wheel and tire package for the winter but it was with 1100 wheels, and 235 series winter tires lol. i don't feel like buying a nice set of wheels for winter tires nor run a 235 winter tire
