Fixing Turbo Help! Urgent!

i just bought a 20g-9-5 from a member on this board and i just got it.. it turned out that its missing a wastegate and the connect where the wastegate arm and the flapper opener is bent... i tried bending it back straight but im not sure if thats safe... my car is in shop waitin for turbo and i got a bad turbo from user on this forum... i dont have time to get another one but would bending the connecting section back straight be a problem?? and plus... would i be able to swap an evo 8 wastegate to and evo ix wastegate.. the 20g is missin a wastegate too...

take a picture of it and post it. it would help if we could see how bad it is. you should heat it with a torch before bending it.

i dont have a camera... i bent it back with a wrench... it seems pretty straight... the bent was about 20degrees i say.. it was hittin the turbine housing which isn't allowing the flapper to close all the way...

do you know if an evo 8 waste would fit on an evo 9 20g-9-5

it the flapper open and closes fine now but im not sure if its going to have an effect on it.. the bent was enough to prevent the flapper from closing.. it would only close about 1/2 way

Maybe it was dropped and happened to hit that spot. Just give the whole turbine a good look over
