The reason you cap it is so crap doesn't go in there in case you ever go back to stock. I just looped the hose so both ends were on either side.

man you made me have to look up the bloody thing

Loosen it all the way up it doesn't make sense via this picture to have it tightened down all the way. This thing is basically a spring and a ball inside more spring tension... more boost simple no?

Also if its still pegging the boost gauge it may be reversed. I don't think it is at this time..

I thought you were supposed to run a line directly from the turbo outlet to the MBC and from the wastegate to the MBC? I was under the impression the closer to the turbo the MBC is, the better it is.

Well where do you want it to activate? At the boost level of the turbo housing or the manifold. Both are just preference imho.

We could ask our more experienced members here if there is a real or just percieved benefit since i don't know for sure

Hmmm I see. I was just thinking with the turbine outlet, nothing else to disrupt the boost reading.

Yeah the train of thought may be the pressure drop of the piping, thus putting it on the manifold is a better choice *shrugs*

Personally i'd do whats easier and that would mean the turbo housing nipple.
