This is what David Buschur once said about the GT35:
800 rpm slower spool +100 awhp.

Ok let me ask you these questions:

Are you running a stroker ?

If not, are you running stock internals ?

Stock MAF ?

Engine Management ?

I was in the same situation I was unsure what turbo to get. I went ahead and got the 35R. someone said lag is terrible from a 3rd gear roll at 1,500rpm.... Why would anyone in their right mind consider that to be a good test? Who is going to even think about getting on it at 1,500rpm? If it lags just down shift. From what I read on here a 35R isn't even considered big anymore.... they have a 37R and 42R for that.... So that just made the 35R a street turbo. LOL

Had a gt3076r with a flash and alky made 451whp and 379 tq on 29psi. .82 backend and great on the street. Took out AMG benzito's like they were parked. Raced a GT2 porsche in the mile and Lost by a car(meth hose blew off). So I upgraded. 35r pistons and rods. Waiting to get an AEM, 1000 cc injectors and back to my man IVEY. Im shootin fo 520+ whp. On 10 psi you can feel a nice pull, but these turbos are made to boost 25psi+. I stayed with the 2.0 (like to rev the crap out of my motor). You cant go wrong with a gt30 series or bigger. A gt3076 flows about 52lbs per minute , a 35r 65lbs. Again I had cars with small turbos take off on me due to the fact they make Tq instantly. But they run out of breathe upstairs. If you are planning on going road course I would advise you to get a smaller turbo, like a 20g or even a gt28 series. For all out hiway fun where you are going to have room to stretch your legs GT3076 or bigger.

That's good information.

I guess you can start off BIG the first time or work your way up.

I agree with your last statement though.
Agreed i just wanted to give him an idea what 2+ seconds of just waiting for power is like

Its all personal preference in the end anyways

You might as well go with a T67 P-trim if you are going to do a stroker....
