problem with my throttle?

hi guys
I am new here and have a 05 evo with down pipe, test pipe, and a greddy electronic boost controller.
recently i am having this problem with my gas pedal when i press about half a inch or so instead of cruising at same rpm all of a sudden my rpm goes up by 1000 and dropps again .do you guys have any idea where might the problem be?
thanks for your help it is driving me knots.

how is your idle? if that is choppy I would check for air leaks in the intercooler piping.

what happens if you mash the throttle. my initial guess would be your clutch is slipping.
