BOV question

Just installed forge recirc bov. My question is that when i'm driving and giving it almost full throttle like passing somebody on the highway and let off the gas the car bucks a tiny bit. I don't remember this happening before with the stock bov. I have a IX RS with just an hks drop in filter and a carbon ti catback and the forge bov. The reason i installed it is because i was told that it will hold higher boost presure and not leak. I plan on doing more to the car so i went ahead and put it on. If its the bov causing this jerk should i just go ahead and put the stock bov back on? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

if you do a search it will come to you...... the forge just does that, you might wanna try putting in a shim or two to see if that takes car of it. or instead of just slightly taking your foot off the gas remove it fast.

The forge on fits right into the oem piping and i tightened everything. But i'll go outside and check in a little bit to make sure that nothing came loose. Just curious it this has happened to anybody else. Now the little jerk could that be considered compressor surge?

Do you have the old direct replacement one that that is not recommended using, or do you have the new and improved RS that is much better? If you have the old one, then you just got the wrong BOV...

RS, did you go by my write up ? If so then you at least know you installed it right . Make sure like Warr said you didn't get the alternate (less expensive) direct replacement DV. If so you might had just screwed yourself outta a good part.

you should have never changed out the stock bov. Put it back on and enjoy smooth driving again. BTW the stock metal bov can hold lots of boost without leaking.

I went out and turned the knob to tighten the spring and the little jerk i felt after letting off the throttle went away. If it comes back then i'll put the stock metal bov back on. Thanks for all the help guys.
