Is this a good deal/will it fit my IX RS?

Hi all, please help me out... I have an 06 EVO IX RS and need some help.

I've been offered this:

perrin down pipe, perrin cat delete, jic catback
asking 500 obo will have pics up tonite it is already off the car
has a quiet deep tone if your not lookin for something load this is for you

PRICE DROPPED TO 450

here are some questions asked:

me: why are you selling your stuff?
seller: because it is for an 8 and its to quiet i want the helix
me: will it fit a IX?
seller: it will. I want something more aggressive sounding. i had it on mine just want something louder it has a nic tone to it deep
what do you guys think...? first he says it's for an VIII then he says he had it on his VIII and then on his IX... is he full of it or does it sound like a good deal? is the catback the same for an VIII and a IX?

Sorry guys I'm an EVO n00b and have much to learn! Any help is highly appreciated.

I believe the downpipe wont clear the ACD, and you'll have to weld a O2 bung in the test pipe, cause the o2 on the IX is in the cat. The VIII has the o2 after the cat. I think its a pretty good deal, but thats just me

The placement of the o2 doesn't matter If you use a testpipe or high flow cat will cause a cel. The question is if it will clear the acd. My freind is running a perrin tbe on his IX if I will try and get intouch with him to see what model it is

I have a 06 MR with a Perrin TBE. Fits nice. If you have the MR you need to space the first support beam by about 1-2cm, so it doesnt rattle on the tranny. 450 is a smoking good deal
