CEL after Cat-Back Install and o2 Fix!

Was driving today...made a stop and then when I got back into my car and turned it on, I noticed the Service Engine Soon light was illuminated. I have a JUN BL Cat-Back with testpipe and eBay o2 fix and I've had everything installed for about 2,000 miles with no CEL before today. Any ideas on why I am just now throwing a code? Don't know what to do about it, figured I'd post something up here before removing everything and putting the stock exhaust back on.

Answers would be GREATLY appreciated!

I highly recommend investing in a code reader. Especially if you plan on modifying the car even more. Till then, you can always head to Autozone or the like and have them read it for free. That will eliminate any question as to what is causing the light.

I had the same issue. Go to PEP Boys and buy another O2 extension like the one you have, but don't drill it out. Screw it on top of your Ebay O2 fix then screw your O2 sensor into that. Done deal(well, after erasing the code).

get the code pulled and then we can help.

or you can do a search on that code and probably get the answer that way.

^^^^^^^^^O.P.
Let the car run for a few days and it will most likely turn itself off. The O2 and the ECU need to re-adjust. Atleast that is what happens in my situation. If it stays on for a longer period, then go get the code pulled to see what it was. G/L either way.
